Universal Rules

So believe it or not, we the Admins and Moderators don't actually want to ban you. So to prevent that, here are some rules to follow.
Keep in mind that punishments for breaking these rules will be handled on a case by case basis, and that you can be banned for a first offense if it is deemed serious enough.
1 ) Respect everyone
This may be an online community, but that doesn't make harassment, personal attacks or anything else of that manner okay. If you are wondering if something would violate this rule, it probably does.
If you feel you have been the subject of bullying, please PM a Mod or Admin, and provide screenshots.
2 ) No Spamming
Spamming includes troll posts, double posts, and necroposting. Just to be clear, double posting is when you respond to a thread you have commented in before someone else replies. If you feel the need to change the content of your post, edit it instead. Bumping your own post is allowed after 48 hours of no replies. Necroposting is responding to a thread that has been inactive for one month.
3 ) Keep content PG-13 or below
Dropping the occasional mild curse is acceptable, but don't go overboard. Again, if you are wondering if you are going overboard, you probably are. Anything that blatantly violates this rule (for example, sexual content) will earn you a ban.
4 ) Stay on topic
Talking is great, but make sure you talk about the right things in the right places.
5 ) No promotion without Mod or Admin approval
To get approval, ask a Mod or Admin, mention you are approved by them in your post, and have them respond to verify their approval.
6 ) Don't PM mods or admins about issues that are minor (for example, someone double posting). If you are friends with them, casual conversation is of course okay.
7 ) Do not make more than one account.
If you want to change your username, talk to a mod or an admin.
8 ) Leave the moderation to the mods and admins
DO NOT try to police this forum unless you have the role for it. It is annoying, rude, and unnecessary.
